SINDS 2006

This piece below is important for buyers but also for breeders (trust is in both cases a very important point)

We have no more contact with Chantal (Hawbucks French Bulldog kennel) and Linda (from the LoveBoat French Bulldog kennel) because those breeders have damaged my trust and destroyed our healthy lines!!! (The explanation of why is clearly stated on this page)

They always know what to say, Linda always agrees with Chantal and defends her on all points.

Chantal & Linda have left the FCI and have switched to a "look a like" Frencies club in Austria where all colors are welcome.

Chantal is going to use a blue/white male to a  pure French Bulldog female she bought from us (Bulls of Crown’s Enchilada aka Yara) as a pup. The male looks like a mini pit bull with standing ears but there can also be a breed that has been lying next to it. In short, it is obvious that it is not a French Bulldog. Shewants to use this male on a pure French Bulldog female which she has bought from us as a puppy and comes from excellent healthy tested lines with fresh import blood.

(I would like to mention that I used to have a pit bull in the past and that's why the look is so recognizable and you still have a pit bull in all colors and sizes)

I have changed the color of the dog in an old style so that the contours of this dog are clearly visible. (large, back is not correct, high on the legs, longest tail and nose of a pit bull)

Also Linda (from the LoveBoat French Bulldog kennel) have breed the male she bought from us (Bulls of Crown’s Ethan aka Marley) as a pup to her blue fawn female.

Chantal and Linda were so against unrecognized colors and French Bulldogs without a FCI pedigree there they were very clear! And the high prices that breeders asked they found ridiculous !!! But they were focused on healthy breeding and had everything tested, which of course attracted us at the time. But afterwards with the aim to earn as much money as possible with crosses with "look-a-likes" (unrecognized colors) and these puppies don’t get FCI pedigrees because they only register pure French Bulldogs .

Verbal is not worth anything therefore the agreements will be mentioned in our new contract !!!

(I worked on this line for 12 years and invested a lot of money in testing for health and importing new blood with FCI recognized colors)

As I mentioned, Chantal will use this blue/white male (not a recognized FCI color and without FCI pedigree because the FCI only accepts purebred dogs)   This male has been tested for only three generations at the laboratory "FERAGEN" and the result is pure French Bulldog . But they do not add that the laboratory can not test what kind of breeds that are bred for the 3 generations so what is behind them is also a question for them. (these tests do not exist yet)

With this crossing, the desired outer and character traits also go lost and you also receive new foreign diseases (hereditary defects).

We have sent an e-mail to "FERAGEN (laboratory for genetic veterinary diagnostics) in Germany and to the Van Haeringen Laboratory in the Netherlands.

Both have honestly answered my mail and explained everything:

Piece from the mail from the "Dr. van Haeringen Laboratorium"(the mail can be requested from me):

Read here "Dr. van Haeringen Laboratory":

* In addition, it is regularly asked whether a dog is purebred. However, this is not a definition that can be determined on the basis of a DNA test with a high reliability. If feasible, such a DNA test for the determination yields no more than an indication of the varietal purity. It is up to a breed club or studbook organization to determine the policy with regard to varietal purity. In this case, a DNA test can at best offer no more than an indication *

Piece from the mail of the "FERAGEN" Labor für genetische Veterinärdiagnostik "(mail is available if requested)

Read the reaction "FERAGEN" Labor here für genetic Veterinärdiagnostik ":

* Within the last 3 generations there is no hint for an AmStaff or another broad in the ancestry of the dog. As already mentioned at the moment it is not possible to look back more than 3 generations . So we can not say what happened before *

For example, if you cross a pitbull with a French Bulldog and then keep a puppy out of any combination with the French Bulldog and cross it again with the French Bulldog then you will not find anything more of the pitbull in the bloodline.

And in 2250 for a puppy that you can see that the father is not pure breed (and in this case has no pedigree of any value) These kind of breeders breed"Look-a-likes", that means that you breed a dog that looks like a pedigree dog without a pedigree

Linda and Chantal have sent me both an seperate e-mail that i have to delete everything and threaten with legal action because both claim that these are lies. How can it be lies when they have mentioned it everywhere? (Facebook & website) I like honesty and trust. I should not express myself on my own website with the truth? I only explain why i have broken the contact and that I don’t want to co-operate with them!

We are animal lovers in heart and soul. For 18 years breeding dogs is a hobby and just to be clear it will always stays a hobby.

I Edwin have always had a good job in the Netherlands but most of the money went to the dogs. (We had good experienced help in the Netherlands)

We moved to Hungary because of the illness of my wife Daphne (space, rest, nature)

Daphne has medicines that she has to take her whole life, without them she can’t live.

Because of this, a lot of work always ended up on my shoulders but since we live in Hungary there has been a lot more peace in our lives and the dogs live in a paradise and we enjoy that.

*** We have our own monthly income so we don't live off the dogs ***

I also want to lose this in terms of trust because this really bothers us:

We also made an unjustified unconscious mistake two years ago.

We used a red French Bulldog male from Germany who tested on many hereditary defects (including back / neck, allergies, patellaluxatie, in short really super results and in the back / neck no wrong vertebra !!!)  (All results are in German on my PC)

Nice combination for our Chaya , to get some coarser puppies ( Chaya is a hybrid type)

The brother of the French bulldog male lived here in Hungary in our neighborhood, but he was not tested.

So we prefer 14 hours of driving for a tested dog that fits our Chaya .

We had a nice nest and they looked healthy.

They had all found good owners, so we were satisfied.

But later we received a message from the owners of a pup from this combination with breathing problems. We are terribly shocked.

We had never experienced this with our own bred puppies but with 2 import French Bulldogs so we knew this very well.

And then there was one with the same problem and we always send everyone to Sleeuwijk (bulldog specialist)

Half of the pups from this conscious litter had a too long palate (only the trachea was good)

We were so sad and we are always open and honest.

We were very angry because the breeder lied about the poor airways of the dog because that is hereditary and these poor puppies had to undergo surgery, the long palates had to be shortened.

We were also honest with the puppy buyers and supported them as much as possible, both emotionally and financially.

The owner of the French bulldog male we used said he was too fat and out of shape, but that was clearly a lie.

This will never happen again, we felt very guilty, we trusted the owner because the dog was tested for so many genetic defects.

But now every dog we use has to undergo a throat inspection before it is bred because we never want to experience it again!

So far we are very satisfied (aside from the litter I wrote about)

But I will never say that I never breed an unhealthy dog, it is still nature that also plays along.

We have never had hereditary problems with our own lines (our lines are healthy and strong)

Worldwide we have many applications for healthy French bulldogs with an FCI pedigree .

And you clearly notice that there are more and more FCI breeders who want to breed for health. It is also not that all breeders are exactly the same.

There are enough breeders who unconsciously think they are doing well and do not know better, but who are thinking now are I doing a good job? And ask them what they can do to breed healthier and yes I am proud of that and if all those breeders only breed healthy dogs we have more and more healthy blood for breeding.

Here in Hungary all dogs must be inspected before you can breed with them. If they are not approved, you will not get an FCI pedigree .
